Random thought:

Apparently this weather is because some weather system that is normally in Scandinavia this time of year is resting too far south.

So, if we all get together (as in the whole UK population) at the same time, face north and blow

maybe we can move it North?

sun is due south at 12 noon

get a map
compass is the best way !
 
At mid-day, the sun will be due south.

So, tomorrow (Thursday), at exactly 1pm (because we're on BST not GMT) (set your watches by the speaking clock), everyone stand with their back to the sun and blow.

Be aware though that if everyone breaths in at the same time while still facing North, it will nullify the effect of blowing. Therefore, in order to breath in, everyone will have to turn round for a moment and face the sun.
 
but the chances are we won't actually be able to see the sun, as it will be behind a large grey cloud!!

Good point about not breathing in whilst facing North - I hadn't thought of that!
 
I know you are going to not like what I am about to say; but we are having rain here and I am loving it! We have only had rain twice in the past month and it has been so hot that it is lovely to have some nice fresh weather come our way.

Our fields are already burnt up and brown so this rain is doing them the world of good - I'm sure I can see them turning green before my very eyes.
