Have figured out saddle problem!! Want a Saddle Co Fitter in South West

I've been trying to figure out problem with saddle that was fitted by saddler 2 weeks ago on new pony and have come to a conclusion. Its too narrow. It moves from side to side and feels very perched. The points are obviously digging in to her and some scabs have formed under the front of the panels. I have just rung saddler and told her everything and I think she also realises its not right.

So poor new pony having to settle in and be ridden in a saddle that hurts. So am waiting for them to see if I can take her to saddlers tomorrow otherwise Weds.

Am thinking a nice Saddle Co saddle (cob type) would suit her because they are lovely and soft and can be adjusted.

Oh and any good Saddle Co Fitters in the South West? I'm in Dorset but willing to pay for travel. Want to get this right as soon as!!

Not sure if he does those saddles but Martin at Horse e things is really good, he comes to Dorset. he did my mares two saddles and not had any problems at all with them.

Have seen Nutwell saddlery (near Bicton) fit a couple of horses really well for what it's worth.

I have a friend who is a Master Saddler in South Wilts and she can make you saddle to fit your pony for £1000. I saw the last one she made for someone on her yard and it was superb! Just a thought!

Cant recommend the square cantle cob Saddle Co saddle enough!

edit - I think all there fitters are on the website, and they will travel a bit of a way

I know this doesn't answer your question but I have a Kent and Masters cob saddle (leather version of Thorowgood saddles) with adjustable gullets. Have a look at their website, I bought one second hand and then got a Master Saddler to come and fit and check it.
