that my horse jumps hedges... pretty much regardless of whether the rider is with him or not! 
OH took him hunting today, and just kicked on basically! Jumped the first hedge ok, but the next one (in a corner) Ron got over excited about, launched himself forwards and left towards a hedge on the left which unseated OH, then straightened himself up tipping OH off the left, then jumped the hedge whilst OH had both legs on one side of the saddle and was busy correcting things.Somehow OH managed to stay on, landing on the saddle but with no stirrups!!
The next hedge (after some timber which went well!) they got in deep to, sort of breasted it/went through it and OH was decanted out the left hand side - whereupon Ron effed off into the distance to be caught by one of the whips. He says he hit the ground just about laughing, so no harm done!
I've chickened out of hunting on Saturday (a well known hedge day!) and am leaving it to OH.
