Excuse the rather self indulgent post but I have had a fab weekend with the ex racer boys. Dylan my 9 year old had his first show of the year yesterday and surpassed all my expectations of him (he still finds going out v exciting after 2.5 years so can be a bit lively ) and came home qualified for PUK and Trailblazers and got some amazing comments from the judges. Meanwhile baby pone (now named Rio ) hacked out on Saturday really well - v confident and generally v well behaved and today we ventured into the school and managed a walk, trot and canter on both reins with correct canter pick up 3 out of 4 times, happy to have my other horse working behinfd him ,in front etc and was just generally lovely. So excited for both of them for the summer - shame baby pone will move on to pastures new at some point but never the less will be a fun summer :) :)

So glad you are having such a good times with your boys! Bet you anything Rio (like it) stays for longer then just the summer! I really want to come and visit you and the boys! :D:D:D
 
Would love him to stay but I only just managed to persuade my yard owner to let me have him for the summer and the way he eats I don't think I could afford him ! :) Just wish he was a year older :) Need to sort out when you could come down even if its just for a cup of tea :) ah yes my ginger giraffe - love of my life :) :) Got told yesterday that he was warmblood (erm no ) and that he was very obiedient (must have hidden the bucks behind the coblet we lined up next to :) ) love him to bits - remind me of this when I am asking for help writing his for sale ad next week :)
