Have horses ruinned your looks?

I have a scar above one eye from where I was kicked in the head white a few years ago now - it isn't very visible but you can see it. I have three broken fingers which ache due to horses going berserk on the lunge and breaking them, a few broken toes and a broken foot from being jumped on, a dent in my head from another kick and numerous scars and bruises from falls/bumps over the years... so in a word yes!

I forgot about my scar...

Wearing a borrowed helmet with crappy broken plastic liner, after taking lessons for about six months, my horse who had been refusing to walk over a pole on the ground decided that a bar 10cm off the ground was better jumped at a gallop than at a trot.

He went really high, I leaned too far forwards and almost did a somersault over his shoulder on landing.

I landed on my feet, but fell backwards; the helmet slipped forwards and the broken plastic liner nicked the bridge of my nose. Quite a bit of blood for ten seconds, but it healed quickly, leaving a scar about 8mm long. Almost invisible.
