selling the most beautiful unsound (injury) mare for light hacking/riding, brood mare or companion. No disease as cleared by x rays. 14 years. She is not on medication or anything complicated only bute if required. She is soooooooo sweet. Would somebody, somewhere want her do you think ??

Or should i not bother and just leave her happily turned out somewhere nice.

"... not bother and just leave her happily turned out somewhere nice." Sounds like the best option for her if you can afford it. Otherwise you loose control over the future of a potentially vulnerable (to miss-selling/worse) horse.

You could always consider loaning her as any of the above. Possibly to stay on your yard/somewhere you can make regular visits to avoid some of the costs but give her a job and you some peace of mind?
