Ulla wakes me up in the morning by sticking her nose in my face and leaving it there. On occasion she's been known to grab my nose gently in her mouth. I wonder if I've inadvertently taught her that this is the way I like to be greeted; I've often (and ever since she was tiny) grabbed her muzzle and kissed her on the nose, and she seems to like it. Or do dogs just like to do this? It certainly wakes me up!!

I wish my dog would go about waking me up like that! Pheobe usually pulls my hair by standing on it, but it is a good alarm clock! If that doesn't wake me up, she tramples me!

EEK - I thought Morse was the only dog that does this, he comes and nibbles (very lightly) the end of my nose when he thinks it's time to get up!! Must be a 'doberman thing'!!

My mums whippet likes to wake me up by staring at me, she stands on the pillow stares at me with her bug eyes, then she puts her nose on my nose and gently head buts me!!! She thinks its great coming to stay at my house as she gets to stay in our bed, where as she sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen at my mums!! TBH though, Im normally the one waking her up, she is such a lazy little thing!!!

We had to take out dog to a behaviourist and we had her sleeping in our room at night, ive been told by several people that letting your dog sleep in the same room as you.
