Hey all...
I got my new horse a month ago, have been riding him 4 or 5 days a week, mostly schooling or lessons and hacking in company...anyway have had the week from hell last week because I had a car accident and hurt my pelvis a little, so have been getting lifts to yard with friends as not had a car, and because i've been feeling a bit sore haven't ridden...I have lunged him once and he is turned out 24/7, so should I be ok just to hop back on tomorrow? He is a tb but hasn't done anything silly yet apart from being quite spooky, shall I lunge him first? I'm a bit worried as I spent the first 3 weeks really getting to know him but this last week I've spent almost no time with him at all, and when feeding him the last day he seemed very riled up, so a bit worried he might be fresh?
