Have we any news on the 'Badly neglected horse and donkey' from BHS?

Well it's either resolved or it isn't by now if it's that clear cut. It's either neglect or it isn't. If the horse is still in situ then we can safely assume that the BHS have found the same situation as both the RSPCA and WHW. Or they or just being very slow at letting people know.

Has anyone asked Hope Pastures? Surely they must know?

If its being dealt with by the RSPCA, WHW and BHS they wouldn't let other charities know unless they needed help. At least I think thats how it works.

Sorry, what I meant was surely Hope Pastures know if the horse is still there or not?

If the horse is still there - then there is no clear offence being caused that warrants the removal or immediate destruction of the horse against the owner's consent. Either that or the horse is too ill to move and has been taken into possession to remain on the premises under RSPCA care (or whoever else is willing to prosecute).

Or like I say, maybe the horse has gone/been pts and BHS are just not updating us. Surely someone has the location though to be able to ring BHS and ask for an outcome?

but lee said that due to the circumstances he probably wouldn't be able to give an update. I don't know why you think it would be clear cut.

As I have said on the other thread - I don't think it's clear cut - because RSPCA and WHW have said it's not. IMO it sounds as if the horse is already under treatment and there hasn't up to now been sufficient cause to take any further action. In which case the BHS won't be able to do anymore, unless the owner is willing to sign the horse over for pts or rehoming. Would have thought that avenue has already been pursued by the other charities though.
