I'll start you off.
I had one male pupil who used to ask (every session) which side his privates should lie, and what he should do with them.
As if I'd know?!

Oh, and I had one woman who used to canter from front to rear every time she became lead file, pretending she was getting carted.
My solution - immense sympathy and a whole hour's lesson where she was lead by a 10 year old helper 'in case you become frightened'.
It worked! Next week she managed to retain control. LOL

I had one who used to say 'but surely.....' to every constructive criticism I offered. I did resort to the feeble one liner, and say 'I'm not Shirley, I'm *****' but it didn't sink in.
'Try to get your lower leg back underneath you' 'But surely it's in the right position if he's trying to fall in?' 'Just drop your hands a little' 'But surely if I'm trying to get him to relax his jaw?' Drove me mad. I used to feel so like saying 'But surely you'd be better off saving your money, since you know so much more than me?'
I didn't much like teaching, give me grooming, anyday!
Well most of my pupils are good, the only really frustrating ones are those who are too scared to trot so I have to think of every possible walk exercise to keep them amused!
I don't teach people, but I once was helping the instructor, and this one boy kept whipping his pony constantly and very very hard!
I told him to stop as pony clearly wasn't happy, he told me i wasn't riding the pony so how would I know.
He never once used his legs to move the pony on, just used his whip!! grrr
Ah, I sympathise with the 45 min walk lessons...leg yield...position work...poles...circles...ride a dressage test in walk....I've been there!
One day, I hope you will achieve trot with them!

I was not teaching, but in 1 lesson a father and son used to ride. In 1 lesson, the son had his jods inside out (he had wondered why the seams were prominent) and the father had his 1/2 chaps on the wrong leg.

We had a french placement student who rode like this. She had never ridden a horse which required leg before.
i 'assist' a woman who wears her chaps on the wrong leg.... and her horse likes to wear his brushing boots the wrong way round too.
i dont 'teach' her, i 'assist' her, and 'remind' her of the 'correct' way to do things. which says it all really!! she never listens. ever. its so infuriating!
