I am a long rein novice and would love to have a go with my horse.. i have seen this item on ebay ( very sorry i dont know how to add link) that is called ...Stop That Horse:Start Right Long Reins /Training Device and seems to have a device that stops the reins becoming crossed or muddled for novices like me. Has any body used them before and are they any good?
What is the best typoe of long line to use as i really dont know what to get

! Thanks in advance x x x

no, just bog standard 2 lunge reins. idea of the breech strap is novel, though not convinced that it would stop you ending up with reins on one side. As for the flank strap - aren't those also known as bucking straps - to make bucking broncos buck harder??

most useful tip anyone gave me was to tie the stirrup irons to the girth with bale string or something to keep the lunge reins down. much cheaper too!

was also taught never to use the loop handles on lunge lines -accidents waiting to happen

Get two that are different colours to help you distinguish left and right. I like cushion web lunge reins.

Edited for clarity- dont bother with the ebay thing, just get 2 lunge reins of different colours
