Got bored of the yard your on?
I hate to admit it but I really think I am.
I've got a fab jumping pony but sometimes I really think is there any point in me owning one when I don't have a trailer?
I've jumped all of the xc course up the road and the exitement of jumping that course is now fading knowing that it really isn't a challenge for my pony.
No one on my yard has the same disipline as they are all happy hackers so I just have to go riding by myself a lot of the time.
I don't have bucket loads of money to go to an amazing competition yard, and really get on with jumping..
I've always wanted to event when I get older but that dream is always fading!
Any happy stories with a similar problem?

No need to go to a posh competition yard, just find one with other people who lightly compete! It's sooooooo easy! I jest of course.

Though I do get out about once a month with 1 of 3 different friends who have transport so I am really lucky. Have you thought about hiring transport? OR moving yards just to increase variety, not necessarily a comp yard but one with different people?

Our yard is a mix of full and DIY, so not a posh compeition yard but it does have facilities and a lot of people who compete. Dont think its more expensive than a lot of the happy hacker yards.

The people without transport seem to be able to get a lift to most of the places they want to go.

Might be worth having a look round at other yards.
