Another tragic story about carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning in the news:

Please remember to get an alarmed detector when you are staying away at events. I've seen many people using small butane heaters which are designed for outdoor use. Plus there are other appliances that could go potentially go wrong

You cannot see smell or taste carbon monoxide which is why it is so deadly

If this saves one life I'll be happy!

I've got a portable one that usually lives in the house, but that comes with me in the lorry if I plan an overnighter with my portable gas heater!

Yes I have one and always use it if staying away in the lorry, such an inexpensive device that can save lives

RIP to the mother and daughter & get well soon to the father/husband

Having been very lucky last week and survived a Carbon Monoxide leak in our house i will take our portable one with us if we stay over in the lorry.
The gas man said if we didnt have our alarm, the following night we would have gone to bed and not woken up!
Makes us realise how lucky we have been!
