By the way your mare's carrying or behaviour of mare? Chatting with vet & he said a lot of grooms at big studs seem to guess right. How good are you

umm, i think my gut instinct has been right most times, but it's not been based on anything observational, just really really wishing for a filly the last few times seems to have worked!

tbh i was so relieved to have a healthy foal on the floor that i didn't really care that much... although it's the first thing i looked at when they popped out!

i was realy luck in that i had a late scan done and saw foales testicles so no need to guess so i am having a colt

i have only ever wanted a filly and this will be colt number 4

I was sure, right from the start of PF's pregnancy that this was a colt (even though I hoped it was a filly) I was right. Incidentally I also got the sexes of both my sister's children right

How late did you have it done? Vet told me they could only tell at around 2mths.

i still stick by if its a colt you can see it move and very active inside the mare if a filly not much activity? its been correct for my last few unless its all in the mind

scan was done at about 5months be a professional repro vet and he was almost certain it was a colt but we will just have to wait and see
