Have you heard of a horse called Hulla Balloo? I'm trying to find a bit about his history and how he got on in the eventing world before now.

Yeah he's 8yrs old bay gelding, from what I've been told I think he came from Ireland origionally but not entirely sure. I don't have a passport or anything to help me. He hasn't done anything in a while and wondered what had happened to him. Thanks for those eventing records guys those are really helpful!! I think he must be the Hulla Balloo VII I hadn't heard of him doing any racing, you don't think it could be the same horse do you?

Just had a look at NED online, Hulla Balloo VII's eventing record has been put in by BE but he doesn't have a passport associated with him, so your horse could be him. You could try contacting the people who evented him - website here (from another Google!!) - http://www.queenholme.com - and see if they remember him, who he went to after them, etc to see if you can find his passport. You really shouldn't have bought him without the passport!! Are you able to contact where you got him from to try and trace it?

Paul Nicholls' horse is Hoo la Baloo and is french bred and still racing so it isn't that horse.
