ok sorry silly post but tonight after an awful week with mothers health and work 2 things made me smile and rib tickle laugh
first baby was obviously tired - walked to me in field for one lol - but as led her in across field she just kept on yawning pmsl i evetually sat on floor and laughed AND she looked so indignant lol
then when leaving yard i saw the tiniest smalliest bunny ( with big bertha mum) and sat as i stopped car and we just looked - i so smiled at cuteness( ok yeah they are pests) but was so cute
So what have you smiled at today - silly post but lets just smile x

Good post, I don't think people smile or laugh enough.
I laughed this morning when walking the dogs at the yard, my friends 12 week border collie rolled in a pile of fox poo and looked so pleased with himself. :D
I smiled as my mare fell asleep when I was pulling her mane, then smiled more as I saw her gleaming after being groomed. :)
I laughed (quietly so i didn't wake her) at my dog snoring with her head in my lap. :D
I smiled as my husband went off to tae kwon do with my son in his shiny new red belt :)

My animals have me in stitches on an hourly basis everyday! They are jolly good for the soul! :D

lol i loved those posts and how easy it is to smile - saw a thrush battering a snail at work - me and collegue sat wtaching intrigued for ages - mmmmm :)

This evening ; Old lady had tipped the grass trug upside down, making sure that she isn't given the short bits of redigrass again tomorrow, The Appy smearing her mouth all over my face, The big grey girl investigating my knees while sister was trying to put the halter on her, The big bay girl looking like a fat lass running for a bus as she hurried for the hay :D
They make us laugh always, and as sister said 'and a fecking good job too!' Otherwise we would probably have topped ourselves, or each other, or them, by now :p :D

I'm still smiling. Moved my girl to a new yard on Saturday and been worried in case she didn't settle. I should haven't worried, after 2 days in a field with 1 other horse they joined the herd yesterday and she loved it. Think she had a smile on her face whewhen I saw her tonight. :)

gave pony a treat while riding. then when trotting, was twistingand turning her neck to see if she could get another.#
young one careering round field =, then sidling up for an itch.
got dog a rubber tyre to chew and while chewing it, he stood up and had one leg in it and couldn't understand why he couldn't lift his head up.
pony is content at back of ride but last 5 mins she gets cranky if she isn't at the front.

I usually try to start my day by spending 20 minutes with Charley in his paddock, he'll go through his repertoire of tricks, we'll kick his ball around, or work on new tricks. He always, always, makes me smile and he makes passers-by smile too, I don't care if they think I'm as daft as a brush.

Generally I just have to step outside my door to smile, there's nothing there. No lights, no traffic, just country noises, I love my home.

I had major slip of the tongue when talking to new livery who I don't know that well about our horses and how they worry us I said "I know mine has small nick on his c**k instead of hock".... the look on her face made me smile all day:D:D:D

Laughed until I had tears in my eyes yesterday. My young rescue dog had followed me into the field to help with the poo picking. She had bought the remains of her toy with her and dropped it. My sons gorgeous NF was helping with the poo pickig aswell. He picked up the toy and was tossing it around ad then grabbing it, this went on for a while until he squeezed it hard enough that it squeaked, he dropped it sharpish and stood looking at it for ages. He just couldnt work it out and wouldnt touch it again
He is by far the funniest pony I have ever had the joy to meet, we bought him as a 3 year old and his most popular trick is biting my sons foot while cantering around the school. We have discouraged this but when working in on a loose rein can still show off

Had a good chuckle last night, the horses have moved fields so we can now hack through their old field again (more strip of land with river one side and woods the other).
YO had said the horses had made lots of little paths in the woods while they were turned out and while we were hacking last night my mare seemed to want to show me her little maze of woodland paths.
I had to keep reminding her that I can't fit under all the branches she can!
It was so nice to trust her and let her pick the path.

I had to laugh earlier, i could hear tapping coming from somewhere so i hunted around as i thought it may be one of the cats stuck in one of the buildings.
I found the culprit, it was a magpie sitting on the window ledge, attacking his reflection and getting his feathers all ruffled :D

Last night, I had just had a cup of tea, and OH was annoying me so I tried to steal his sock (yeah ... don't ask). He grabbed hold of me and tickled me and wouldn't let me go, so of course being full of tea I got hiccups. So I glared at him indignantly, which set him off, which set me off, and we both ended up laughing like mad people. Apparently the sight of me trying to be indignant with hiccups is hilarious :p

Our spaniel pup ran into the door last night, god knows why or how he managed it.

Oh and i were play fighting on the sofa last night when our little boy ran over pulling a really cross face, wrinkled his nose, stuck his finger up pointing at us and shouted 'MUM...NO...STOP!!!!!' he poked the finger at us and then did a stroppy little storm off... ten seconds later he came back wedged himself between us and went 'ahhhhhhhh. YAY' :D

The dog investigating the chickens earlier, she snuck up sneakily and the cockerel came from behind and karate kicked her!!!!

OH's boss apparantly has a soft spot for him.

She has ordered new uniforms for them....I was pissing myself cos I reckon his shirt is going to be collar and cuffs only...with possibly a back-less waistcoat. Or cut out nipples:D OH was not amused.

I also smiled at ne horse eating his tea....his head was over the door and he was happily munching away- his nose and muzle go all cute and wrinkly.:)

most recently,
scratching my pony's withers in the field to the point she relaxed so much she farted loudly and then looked up at me like "" and quietly going to eat her hay with 'wasnt me' attitude.

my 8 month rottie puppy going in the field to say hey to my mare and her promptly chucking her head up, ears back and then when he persisted blowing a large amount of snot into his face. the bit that made me laugh was how pleased she was when he ran away and wiped his face on the grass! :D
