Oooh I say SmiffyImp - how are they both bred?
*Nods respectfully at Beau* :) He looks terrific for 33.

I have a thing about Orange Arabs havent I:rolleyes:
Beau is def a one off, he is terrific, I retired him on his 30th as he piaffed up the road:D He has a cataract now and can trip a lot, so was safest all round, but he'll still give Dennis a run for his money - he's as tough as old boots!

My old boy is by El Tamba x Bonabell both Crabbet Old English

No, but I have my daughters 1st pony.
Gave birth to daughter & brought a yearling the following Feb.
Both are 27 now...............

Smallest Fuzzy is still rattling about & had new lease of life when Big fuzzy (who arrived a year ago) was put in the same field in Feb & they happily play tag together on occasions (or lets-not-be-caught-and-be-fire-breathing-dragons-if-she-hasnt-got-something-in-her-pocket) :D
Also comes out hacking once a week on a lunge line.

I retired little fuzzy from taking children out hacking last xmas when the last loaners gave little fuzzy far too much work over the school holidays & left me with a very lame unhappy pony. Got little fuzzy sound & the back right again after 2 months & is happy as pig-in-the-proverbial these days :)

Beau does have lovely breeding, they don't make them like that anymore do they :) Dennis is fabulous, what a splendid example of an Anglo. I got the chance to finally meet General Gold when he was a very old stallion and he was still breathtaking. What lovely horses :)

Thank you RR, no they dont make the Beau's of the world anymore - sadly! Den is turning out to be a brilliant horse, I love my Arabs and bought him coz he was my cuppa tea, turns out he's a superb eventer (sadly not with me riding, he'd be useless then:) ) If you get the Arab Horse magazine from the society, he's in the recent issue.
