Have you used feather socks?

i am thinking of getting some of the Trophy Tails feather socks to keep pony's feathers clean just before a show. Have any of you got them or know someone that has them - any idea if they work or any good before i splash out? Do they stay up - or down? (as in do they ride up leaving the bottom of thef eather exposed?

I've got some waterproof ones but I've actually never used them! Sorry also not much use. I tried them on and the appear to work and fit quite well but due to covid havent needed to keep the floofs clean ?
