My riding mare has got a 5 week old foal at foot, so as you can imagine (her being my only one) that I haven't had the chance to do much riding. Been riding for 17yrs so I'd describe myself as quite an experienced sympathetic rider, but the problem is I dont want to go to a riding school (as no offence but I feel like I'm on a robot), and the people at my yard seem really happy to encourage me to ride their horses (but only the ones with the absolute nut cases). Is it just me, or didnt there used to be alot of people who work full time, who wanted their horses exercised by someone who was around during the week? Where have those people dissapeared too? Soz just needed a bit of a moan. :.)
