Bless you. Don't ever feel guilty for giving her the best final 12 months of her life. She left this world knowing what it feels like to be loved. It doesn't sound like she has ever had an owner who truly cared for her.
Having made this desition in the passed for horses I know how hard it is and also how judgmentle other people can be. You should hold your head up high and know you tried but in the end you did what was best for her. She is no longer in pain with the ulsers. (((((((((hugs))))))))))) to you. xx
