These last few weeks I have been hacking out a lot more and really adventuring around. Tink has a new friend we ride out with now and they really do seem to love each others company. He is a 5 year old tb and the most handsome I have ever seen. They are so calm together but also have a lot of fun when we get going.
We have been going out for around 3 hours at a time and building tinks fitness, that crazy obese horse I bought is a distant memory now.
we have ventured to my house to surprise my little girl (something I have wanted to accomplish since I got tink but I was nervous to take the underpass for the a11 we live near!), we have ridden through the town to get to a lovely little forest and tink didn't bat an eyelid at anything. Not the traffic, buses, people, noises, nothing!
And yesterday really topped it all off nicely, we went back to the forest and there was a tree fallen in one of the paths so of course we had to jump it!
tink and I have now had our first taste of cross country! Lol! And the 2 foot she needed to jump... Well she believed it was 3 foot of course! 
I am just so please that we can go anywhere and she is really behaving herself. I guess it was just a case of getting her out there.
Schooling is still hard work with her but she is back in a snaffle and a pleasure to hack out!
I plan to take her on our first pleasure ride in September. I am nervous though as she is definitely a follower and I'm worried she'll just take off to follow someone else!
