having to make my own browband for show tomorrow - any ideas where i can get ribbon??

basically, my boy has been entered in the large riding horse class tomorrow morning - it's all a bit last minute tbh and i don't own a velvet browband so i was going to make my own tonight to save me having to run into glasgow to get one.
he's doing the veteran first and i dont know how much time im going to have between classes.

any ideas where i can get ribbon at this time??
ive got a tesco extra and a 24hr asda down the road - do they do ribbon????
help!

I think Asda could be yor best bet. Have a look in the needlework area and you'll probably find little packets of it. Also, I'd try the hair accesory stand. It's amazing just as to what supermarkets sell these days.

Personally unless you are very good at making them I would just use your plain browband. I have entered and won a RH class with a plain browband when I forgot to pick it up from home.

does it look ok? there's a few wonky bits - hoping i can buy one otherwise it'll do. i might be able to do another neater one between classes
