Presumably due the abnormally dry summer last year I seem to have had a wide variety of hay delivered this year. Due to the big one on box rest I am using far more than usual
Anyway I had two big round bales of hay arrive today and they are as dry and coarse as straw. Firstly is there anyway this could cause colic problems for him in the way straw would and secondly would this be ameliorated by wetting or soaking.
