Mine are both living out and I want to be able to feed extra haylage without it being wasted. I was hanging it in the shelter but it's out of comission atm, looooong story!

Haynets with tiny holes seem fairly ok at the moment but was wondering if anyone's used haybags as it may keep the stuff drier when it's pee'ing down.

Some just seem to have a hole which mine would either stick their feet in or still waste loads but the Shires deluxe one has a mesh over the hole. Anyone tried?

Am open to other ingenious ideas too but the 'Hay Hutch' is very expensive and not convinced they can't get feet stuck in it anyway. It needs to be easy enough for the husband to use as well!
