read this and wasnt sure what it was but googled it they look intresting guess they would be good for soacking hay if needed would like so more info to ??
The hay ball or the ends? I think hayball was about £25, ends maybe another £6? It was 2.5 years ago that I bought it, and I've replaced the ends once, but I haven't used it for the last year as I have a haybar instead now. Oh, and Ronnie likes to stick his head into the middle of it, and peer out, as if he's in prison.
I had to get it as Ronnie ate haynet as well as hay - including the metal rings. It got very expensive replacing haynets, and I was worried they'd be doing him harm, so I got the hayball. Only downside is it's not very tidy (hay falls out easily), although it's very easy to fill.
