Hay balls

Yes, I do. Mine is a HayPlay. If you do a search there a post and a video of it in use. I really rate them. Leo loves it, the hay comes out easily but it slows him down while keeping his head in the right position. Mines been in daily use for months and hasnt sustained any damage and Leo hammers it throwing it about playing with it. Mine holds 4kgs of haylage, a bit more if you pack it in.I highly recommend them. I'm sure Bailey will love it :)

Thanks Leo. I keep telling you that you have the wrong person. If you must know the person whose horse you referring to is a good friend of mine and they no longer comes on this site which I have to admit isn't really that suprising sometimes. Talk about a dog with a bone ;) Is it suitable for a field or would it just get mud in it? My paddocks not to bad up the top so I am sure I could stagger upthere at night to put it out in the dry bit.

They would be a lot better and more useful if they held a decent quantity. A big horse would eat the contents in a nano second.

Drop the pretence. Everyone knows who you are.

And probably not suitable for the field in the winter. Mud would clog them up. Depends how playful your horses is as well. Leo flings his about and I suspect in a field it would end up over the fence.

Mine holds just over 4kgs and lasts ages. On its own I'd say about 4 hours, probably more.

I have told Ted The Twit the above information and he still reckons he could empty it in a nano second before hurling the empty ball at his girlfriend Adorable Alice. He has put one on his Christmas list, a pink glittery one.
