Have just spoken to my hay guy and as long as we don’t have snow we should get thought the winter… Eek! I have a tb on ad-lib hay so concerned about his weight already (although he's practically fat at the moment), luckily he won’t be doing much in the way of work over winter so won’t be burning calories but I need to keep him constantly foraging, might even have to resort to using haynets again!

Does anyone know of any good hay suppliers in the Cheltenham area?

Phipps is expensive though? (Although I should get a discount as I practically grew up at the riding school there!)

Have you got any phone numbers?

Does anyone else feel a bit like a drug addict with this hay situation? Swapping phone numbers to try and get hold of a decent supply of the good *****! :D

Hahaaa.. yes I do! Umm.. I'll dig out some numbers for you and PM them when I can find them!

If you buy a few bales, Phipps are exactly the same price as everyone else.... it only gets expensive with them if you only buy one bale at £20, and then have to pay £30 delivery charge. If you order over £30, delivery is free!!

So, two big bales of hay from Phipps for £40 and no delivery??

What size big bales are they?? If I went in with two mates that would be okay, we should be able to store three...
