Hay Cube - £100 - Expensive or worth it?

Hmm not sure I'd pay that. I just soak hay / haynet in wheel barrow then tip water out and lay on its side to drain or hang hay nets up. Have also used and old bath previously and just take plug out to drain it.

It's £89.99 here if you get a black one! I got mine from here and had brilliant service (I also won stuff off their FB page and it arrived really quickly so would recommend them).

Personally it has been a life saver for me. I bought 2 so I had one for my horses day hay and one for her night hay (means I could just soak it overnight or while I'm at work). My horse is on box rest and I need to soak her hay to stop her putting on weight. It slows her down eating as well in comparison to just eating off the floor but I find that the hay doesn't last quite as long as it did when it was in a double netted haynet. However I don't mind her being a bit quicker with her hay rather than dealing with bins and lifting soaking wet haynets! I did try attaching a haynet inside the haycube but she managed to pull the haycube out of its bracket within about 5min so that didn't work. Personally I wouldn't be without mine now! When you are stuck for time in the morning before work it is just so quick and easy! It doesn't cope well in the mud outside the barn so I got a hose to run the water from outside to inside the barn and I just leave it sitting by the drain so I don't need to move it until I've drained the water

I like these but it would be to small to get two big heads in as I emailed them and they said it would be tight , and they have no plans to make a bigger one :-( or I would have got one for the field over the winter.
