Anyone had any experience with either or is there another option?

Leaning more towards the Hay Cube as it has wheels but don't like the idea of having to leave haynet in ....

Mainly for soaking hay.

Any advise/experience appreciated.

Thanks :-)

We've just bought a haycube for the winter for our old Cob - she can blitz through a trickle net within 45 mins - and the only reason we picked the haycube was because of the wheels and that we soak hay for a minimum of 12 hours... Can't bear the thought of lugging wet haynets around for another winter.

Also have a haybar, which again, hasn't been used yet, but Vet advised it would slow the mares down because they wouldn't be fighting to pull hay out of tiny holes.
Probably only use this for my Arab, as the Cob will likely rub herself on it...
