Hi guys

Looking for some advise

I have a two year old filly who has a spirit character. When in she can some times become stroppy and throw herself around her stable. On a couple of occasions she has managed to get the front of her rug caught on her hay net. Luckily she's not hurt herself.

Feeding hay on the floor is not an option as she just drags it around and won't eat it. Her hay net is as high as possible. Just wondering if there is anything else anyone could recommend to solve my problem!

Thanks in advance

A haybar would work, it would be far better than having a haynet tied up high it is not good for her to be stretching up to eat.
I would probably leave her without a rug on overnight, she would be far safer and hardly requires one unless the weather gets really cold, she may be throwing herself about if she is hot or itchy, a friends horse was injured getting her rug caught in a haynet, she pulled back and slipped which tweaked her check ligament she never has her hay in a net if she is rugged now better safe than sorry.
