Hay/Hayledge 2013

I am considering using one of my fields for hay for next year. I have 7 acres of land.

When should I take horses off the land? How many bales of hay/hayledge should i expect to get? And how much on average does it cost to produce?

Its whether i want to stop using the land or not?

Mine wasn't grazed from last August.. Hay was cut end July and I got +500 bales from 7 acres..

Was quoted 85ppb from one farmer and £1.50pb from another..

Went with £1.50pb bloke due to reliability..
