Hay/haylege

My horse is on box rest and has stopped eating the hay ever since she come back from the vets - she just picks at it!
I mixed in some haylege and she loved it!

Can I safely just feed haylege?
Pros/cons?

Yes you can and lots of people do. It tends to be more expensive and its very often more calorific. It does provide some moisture intake though and most horses like it.

Mine currently gets a mix of hay and haylage, you could try doing that?
