Winter planning and with both far too good doers and seeking to keep haylage use to minimum this year I'm looking for recommendations for floor haynet feeders.
I have 3 in a large barn (was 6 large stables) that they have free access to. I don't like haynets for the angle that they feed at - and usually just pop it on the floor and it's hoovered up.
They came through winter too well last year and I've struggled with weight mgmt. all summer so I have to change something this year.
Already feed straw and that seems more expensive than hay this year so far!
Forageplus have been advertising their hay pillows (just a net to tie up and chuck on the floor I think).
they are all barefoot so happy to try nets on the floor.
I want several to avoid them fighting (or the boss one having it all!) so the £250 a go plastic thingys aren't any good for me.
Can anyone recommend any particular brands / things to look out for?
