hay prices north west

How much are people paying for good quality hay in the north east/west at the minute?

Think it is cheaper down south, but hay has only been able to be made up here over the last week, so I think in great demand?

We've got some organic meadow hay at £3.50 a bale really nice stuff

ive seen it for between 5.50-6.50 per bale..............

£5 for decent meadow hay, delivered in small loads with a day or two's notice, stacked and delivered from polite, trustworthy suplliers.

My friend buys her ponie's hay for £3.50 a bale in the same area, but it is not that good quality - fine for her tiny ponies, but wouldn't want to feed it my two.

Im in cheshire. We bought ours for £3/bale! Friend of ours bought hers from elsewhere, but that was £3 a bale too All lovely stuff.

Oh, and ours was delivered by 4 hunky (and one not-so-hunky) young farmers!!
