So the yard where i keep my horse had bought some hay for their horses the other day, and we were going to go back and get more for me.
However it seems that the hay is looking slightly fermented in a way. Sort of more like haylage.
The YO have taken some to be analyzed, not really sure what that means, if anyone could tell me.
Do you think its going to be ok to eat??
Turns out the horse in the stable next to where they stored it ate half a bale leaning over the wall and reaching for it and it didnt make her ill.
What do you think?? I really need some hay and am wondering if i should take some of these bales off them, so that we can all go and get some better hay.
