Yasandcrystal - thanks for highlighting this thread!! Been struggling with my mare coughing but could afford an expensive hay steamer. I feel a trip to B&Q next weekend could sort it!!

Good, it's great to save money especially when these are so very expensive. We just used a budget Blackspor steamer - they are around £12 and lasted ages - shops like 'the Range' if you have one local do them. As for the wheelie bin - you see them advertised in the papers
