Hay storage

Does anyone have any brilliant ideas for hay storage. I’d like to use round bales this winter, but can’t get it up the steps to the shed. I could put it on the driveway, but need something to put it in. Any ideas for a container please? I have heard about tarp and a pallet, would that be a long term solution? Or is there a small container you can buy?

Could you get it delivered and put it shed. The chap who delivers to me uses a tractor with prongs on the front so is lifted up and in to barn.

Unfortunately not as up some steps!

It can work on pallets but you have to cover the pallets at the bottom before you store it or the bottom hay will go mouldy.

Old plastic feed bags tied on with bale string works a treat or a tarpaulin if its a massive area.
