Last year I had a nightmare with hay. The bloke I have previously got it from sold me some stuff which I can only describe as turf (very heavy bales, explained on opening when there were foot square bits of turf inside!).
I went to another supplier, who supplies to Newmarket, whose hay was beautiful, not at all dusty, but obviously came in at a costly price (£7 a bale!!!!!!!).
I have searched online for adverts for decent hay around here this year (with the weather as it is I think I need to be thinking about hay already!!), but I cant find anything.
I always think that recommendations are useful, so if anyone knows of some decent hay in the Cambridgeshire area I would be most grateful....otherwise I shall have to resort to haylage again I think!!!
