Hi
Just wanted to see how much hay is selling for at the moment in Herefordshire.
I have some 2009 hay that has been stored in a barn and is really very good and also some 2011 hay that is also stored in the barns.
These are normal small bales
Any help would be great
Thanks in advance

We are selling our 2010 hay for £3.50 a bale and our 2011 hay for £8 a bale. yes you read that correctly. We are in Shropshire.

Because its so fabulous its a crime almost to eat it! LOL. Its dryazabone, green, smells like heaven with many species of grasses and wild flowers and herbs. Its amongst the best we have ever made. Worth every penny.

Our supplier in Shropshire is charging £4 off the field and £4.50 once barn stored for this years crop. The price has gone up by 50p per bale from last year. It is beautiful hay and the bales are good and heavy so think that is a fair price.

To Horsesforever1 - I hope you sell your hay ok, but however good the quality I would not pay £8 per bale, especially as there appears to be lots available in the area at a lot lower price - sorry!

£8 a bale! why? Theres so much grass about surely people wont pay that price! We have just mowed 80 acres and are going to charge £4.50 as its top quality organic meadow hay - Derbyshire, Staffordshire border

I have just paid £3.25 for lovely hay straight off the field! I found it on eBay and it was only 5 mins up the road from me (in Staffs)
