Decs are out for Saturday. Big entries for what could be a decent Betfair Chase at Haydock. Nice not to see a 4 runner race! Ahoy Senor, Bravemansgame, Hewick and Royal Pagaille are all in. Although the forecast for Saturday is awful, and I was at Haydock 2d ago, and it looked like this...:Screenshot_20241121_115641_Gallery.jpg

Punchestown also looks exciting. John Durkan is on Sunday so we won't know until tomorrow whether we will get to see a Fastorslow/Galopin des Champs rematch, which may also feature the exciting Fact To File. However we do have Stateman, Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead in the Morgiana on Saturday, and the mouthwatering prospect of Ballyburn's debut over fences.

Assuming everything goes ahead it would seem a great weekend to dodge the weather and spend the afternoon in front of the fire, maybe with a 🍷, watching some superstars making their seasonal reappearances! 🤩

Gosh the Morgiana looks good and a lot of old favourites running other places including Dashel Drasher (whose name I normally spell wrongly somewhere) and a personal favourite Royal Pagaille. Just seen the Florida Pearl novices has 3 runners all Gigginstown/GE horses but as you say good fields in most cases if the going stays as it is and the snow stays away.

I’m actually not shooting atm Saturday. I do have a runner at Huntingdon but opted out of a 10 hour drive to go to a very unexciting course! Will watch him on tv.
