My cob wears a nosenet for pretty much all of the year, as he seems to hate not wearing one. I rode him yesterday and he was tossing his head and snorting despite having his net on, so I am thinking that he is really sensitive to tree pollen, as the rape hasn't grown yet.

Does anyone know of anything I can give him or treat him with? I was thinking about vicks vaporub up each nostril but I am not sure that would help or not! lol

I have heard about something called nostrilvet but it seems very expensive.

Any ideas or soggestions?

Choccy biscuits in advance!

There is some stuff called Vapour rub by Carl Hester which is for that exact thing! Not sure if vick would feel yuck on his nose? Vasaline in his nostrils can also help.
Global herbs do a few allergy products, if you look on their site you can see which might be best for your horse. (they are also v helpful if you ring and explain)
Arsenicum album is a hopeopathic (sp) remedy i was recommended- no idea if it works though sorry!
Best of luck- allergies make summer miserable xx
