HAYLAGE BALANCER

Hi,

Hope every one has had a good day

, Ive been busy collecting feed, turning horses out, mucking out, and also holding horses for blacksmith. The sun was out, Im healthy and fit what more could I ask for

Any way the purpose of my post is has any one tried HAYLAGE BALANCER and if so what were the results.

Had a couple on it at my yard as they really had the runs but made no difference to them unfortunately. We put them back on steamed hay and that worked better

I've fed mine on haylage all their time with me (some years) and we have never suffered for lack of a haylage balencer which seems to have been invented by NAF this year. I'm not sure it occured to anyone that we needed one.

I'm not anti supplements - mine use NAF Pink Powder, NAF Ener-G (Best product ever invented IMHO), garlic etc depending on the horse. But we never needed anything specific to address any issues with haylage. In my view - buyer caution might be needed on this one.

I did not get on with it - My horse had the runs from Haylage so in the end I just gave him Pink Powder and that did the job xx

Think they have probably named it wrong,my mate went to a NAF talk, so they were obviously plugging it, and said it dosent mean only halage fed horses should have it, and thier usual talk that its the best thing since sliced bread. So just would like to hear from the users how good it really is.

It seems to me just a cleverly-marketed way to separate owners from more of their hard earned money!
