Hi..please can I ask what you are paying for large or round haylage/dry wrapped hay in the Wincanton/Shepton Mallet/Bruton are in Somerset and if anyone would like to be kind enough to share who their supplier is please pm me. I can collect and use a minimum of 1 large bale a week so would collect weekly. Recently abandoned my hat supplier as my horses were beginning to get poor despite having adlib from a large D10 bale(6 string would last just under two weeks)had it tested & awaiting results but the prices were going up & the leaf content also..not to mention rocks, mud & rubbish so it wasn't the best quailty as the beginning of the batch had been(still last years) They were reluctant to move 6 bales to let me start this years, but I can't feed tat(goats were snorting at it & running off so says alot!) Even the week they've been on haylage they seem to be looking better so am keen to stay on it now but the farmer who rescued me only has a couple he can spare..so please pm me if you prefer not to broadcast..
I'm not fussy as to colour of the wrap but I would like safe, recommended suppliers with clean haylage/dry wrap for obvious reasons!no pretty yellow flowers
