Haylage from 2008

Friend told me about some small bale haylage that was £3.00 a bale so she went to get some last week.

I picked some up this week and horses have been eating it on the yard. It looks and smells really lovely, as some that we have had has been not very nice at all.

So went to get some more yesterday and the owner told me that it was from 2008!

Is it ok to feed...we are now going into a paranoid state of fear...what do you all reckon?

As long as it smells ok and has been well wrapped it should be fine ,I intend to feed some 2007 to my sheep this winter
