Haylage in East Anglia?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent haylage supplier in East Anglia and give me a rough idea of the cost of large bales (eg. 200-250kg)?

I'd be looking to buy about 25 large bales.

Needs to be delivered to Newmarket.

Hi,

I'm not in your area so have never used these people-but I think they go to your area- Thorogood's in Essex, you may have heard of them- if you google they have a website and contact details- I've heard of a few people/yards that do use them and they are supposed to be very good.

I get mine from Lincs forage, it's great haylage and this year their double size bales (240 to 300kg) are £35

second Lincs forage, although they are about 70 miles from Newmarket, so don't know about delivery.
Another one is Eurobale, they deliver all over the UK and it is £170 per tonne

this guy is fabulous and his delivery is cheap!!! http://www.kirkfarmers.co.uk/ I got large hay bales from him so no idea on cost for haylage but worth a look! He also responds well to emails.

lochpearl - How long does it take to go through his big hay bales? im thinking of gettin a couple for my tb. But just wondering how long it would take him roughly to go through a bale. thankyou
