Haylage price?

Hi,
I've just had my first haylage bill at a new yard and was pleasantly surprised how cheap it was (not something that often happens to me!!!) I've not used haylage before, have always used hay, so I was just wondering how much you all pay per pound of haylage? Mine works out as £5 for 100lb which seems a bargain to me- is this typical or have I just been lucky?!

I pay £8.30 for a 45kg bale not sure what that coverts to though

I think thats about right. My maths isn't up to working it out exactly but 100lb would be about 50 kilo. We pay £20 for 175kg of good rye grass haylage or £26 for 250kg of meadow haylage. I think 1kg is 2.2lb
