hiya, iv been offered some bales with eco bale on it, has anybody ever used haylage with this additive on it ? any advice would be greatley received ..just wondering how long a bale would last once opened

I just googled it and found this about eco bale -
Contains 2 bacterial strains plus Poassium Sorbate 'All in One' pack
Developed specifically to treat baled silage or haylage, in large or small wrapped bales
Only available as liquid applied product, best applied at 3 litres/tonne of forage, or more on minibales.
Supplied in a can which treats 16 tonnes of forage or approx 32 x ½ tonne bales
Reduces activity of listeria and other spoilage organisms making the product of particular benefit to sheep and horses
Once treated bales are opened they seem to keep a lot longer than untreated bales.
