Just opened my new Haylage from the green wrap......I am indecisive. I moaned at the last one for being dry, and now this one is damp but not wet, very green with some dry lighter grasses and some brown, in some places it look dry and quite stringy (stuck together)! Smells fine with no sign of mould, no holes in bag and from a local animal farm supplier.....so why do I feel unsure as to whether to feed it to my youngster who has already eaten one Haynet of it......advise please!?!?
