Haynet recommendations

Could I have some recommendations for large nets that have holes larger than haylage net holes but not as large as holes in haynets.

I need to encourage the horse to eat more but feel that the huge holes would be waste a lot as he trashes his bed?

I had difficulty finding just what you describe, but I took a punt on these on eBay, and they are grand. The holes are IMHO a sensible intermediate size, 2”.

What about a hay bag rather than a net? They tend to have a large hole in the side but hay can’t drop out of the bottom of it. Or use a hay cube, (although lots of people are now using old travel cots in the stable, just make sure they are secure - group on Facebook called horsey hinchers shows a lot of posts about this)

ooh they look good. I have treated myself. I hate haynets, I make up 12 at a time but a couple of newbies will mean i get to throw 2 of the horrible oldest ones away!

I have always found Shires hay nets excellent quality for the price paid. This one has larger holes, but I use their standard small hole nets because they are small enough but not so small they get frustrated and chew a hole in them.

Any thoughts on using a haybar or haycube? I use the latter and it was my winning purchase of 2020 lol. I find there is very little waste at all. My horse has adlib hay so no control over speed of eating etc required.
