I'm sorry but a woman who fiddled her expenses from the honest, hard working people she is supposed to represent doesn't have a right to criticise the police.

She had the cheek to suggest the police should have done more rather than stand by when thugs were rioting and looting shops. She's no better than the thugs except she took money without using violence.

Hazel, in my view you should have got sent down and lost your position of trust. If you want to put something back into society, I suggest you get off your high horse, put on riot gear and go out with the police

Along with that appalling Margaret Becket woman, Blears is surely the most disliked and sanctimonious of all female MPs. If I'd bred a mare, who resembled either of those two, it'd be be shot, and sent to the kennels.

Alec.

Hmmm thanks for reminding me of all the horrid sanctmonious bints in the labour party
can I add Sally Bercow and Evette Cooper wifes of the poison dwarf speaker and Ed bulging eyes manic stare balls... can we put all of them in the hounds feed fridge Too??........ please. Alec...:D

God Almighty, I never realised that there were so many!! :D You're right, all of you!

I used to quite like that Lib Dem thing, I can't remember her name, the one with the podgy face, but even she's starting to prove irksome.

That Pankhurst woman has a lot to answer for. :o

Alec. :D

I know she's not Labour but can I add Teresa May to the list?! Can't stand the woman, she's vicious and cruel.

In fact, I'd probably say I loathe most politicians! Michael Gove is the worst... there is no other word to describe him than "creepy" *shudders*

Ah yes of course the police should have done more so that the sanctimonious bint could accuse them of police brutality instead of police inaction. The poor police on the street doing the job could not win, it was a complete lose/lose situation.

You probably will not need a very big freezer - I was meeting my daughter off a train when the labour shadow cabinet wandered onto the platform - they are all shrimps!! Including the men! Is there a height restriction for being a politician???

I thought Harriet Harman was a disgrace on newsnight the other evening - trying to blame the cuts - who got us into the position where cuts were necessary in the first place? I used to be a labour voter until recently.

They are all a joke.

Is there no end to the list? Teresa May, another contender for harridan of the year. Michael Gove? He seems so trustworthy, doesn't he?

Another one for the list; that Chakrabati woman from the Everyone's Entitled To Want Ever They Want Brigade, Human Rights.

Whilst I would give general support to human rights, there are conditions attached to some of those rights, and I'm finding that bloody woman ever more annoying. When she's on telly, she wears a face which resembles a slapped arse, and I've yet to see her smile, or even admit that there may be any question as to her argument.

Alec.

I agree!

I thought this was going to be about her new "hairstyle". It was not great before but what on earth was she thinking of getting a frizzy perm:confused: Agree with with everything else that has been said though:D

Who is she? I assume you don't mean the Chakrabarti woman who reads the news sometimes?!

Alec - yes Gove does just seem untrustworthy. He also looks like he probably dribbles. Eugh.

She is that sanctimonious bint from the Uman rights thingy....
Yes Gove isnt that photgenic but I think he is one of the better people in goverment
and seems to have some good ideas , and lefty teachers dont like him so that's a good indicator that he has some common sense ...

I agree, if lefty teachers don't like him then I do.
The news reading Chakrabati is the Uman rights sister I think.

Couldn't agree more - I felt deeply that many MPs were utter hypocrites when condemning the looters - How many MPs would still be claiming for everything if the expenses scandal hadn't broke?? All I suspect!!

The real tragedy with Hazel Blears is that her constituents had a chance to send a very clear message that thieving in any form is unacceptable yet still re-elected the stupid cow!!!

Sometimes, you get exactly what you deserve.

I've contacted my MP on a couple of issues that are very important to me and all I ever get back is the Central Office party-line press statement - utterly pointless having them as I can look that up on the internet!!!

I heard a wonderful statement recently which I think sums up Westminster perfectly and their sanctimonious attitudes post the expenses scandal: "you can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter"!!!:D

Sadly true on the subject of re election people are tribal and like sheep and will vote for anything with a labour badge same with the torys in their heartlands so we get the same old same old self serving turds or the other turds
nothing changes ....

TBF my local MP seems to be pretty good - when I've emailed him, I get a proper, considered response back that I genuinely don't believe is always the "standard" response. He actually also always seems to *do* something about the issues you raise and will tell you what he did, the outcome, and what he wants to do next.
